Reading to Learn, Think, and Grow

At P.S. 66, students in grades K–5 use HMH Into Reading to build strong reading and writing skills. Each unit focuses on a big idea that connects the stories and lessons. This helps students learn about topics in science, social studies, and the arts while they read.

Through each unit, students build vocabulary, practice reading and writing, and share their ideas in class discussions. At the end of the unit, they answer a big question to show what they’ve learned through speaking and writing.
