Social Studies and Civics Education

At P.S. 66, we use the NYC Public Schools Passport to Social Studies curriculum to help students learn about history, geography, economics, and civics in fun and meaningful ways.

Through the Civics for All program, students explore how democracy works and connect what they learn about history to today’s world.

Teachers use the NYC Social Studies Scope & Sequence to plan lessons and choose activities that make learning hands-on, engaging, and connected to real-life experiences.
