Electronics Policy
At P.S. 66, students can bring the following electronic devices to school:

Cell phones

Laptops and tablets

Smartwatches
To keep our school safe and focused on learning, we ask that students follow these guidelines:

All electronic devices (e.g., cell phones, laptops, tablets, earpods, smartwatches) must be turned off and kept in backpacks while in the school building.

Students may not use (e.g., cell phones, laptops, tablets, earpods smartwatches) anywhere inside the school at any time.

Electronic devices (e.g., cell phones, laptops, tablets, earpods, smartwatches) cannot be used during quizzes, tests, or exams.

State tests have special rules for electronics set by the New York State Education Department.

All electronic devices (e.g., cell phones, laptops, tablets, earpods, smartwatches) must be turned off during fire and emergency drills.

Electronic devices (e.g., cell phones, laptops, tablets, earpods, smartwatches) may not be used in bathrooms.
- Students are not allowed to bring portable speakers or gaming consoles, such as Nintendo Switch, to school.
