Birthday Celebration
We understand that birthdays are special and want to provide a simple way for students to celebrate with their classmates while keeping our focus on learning. Please follow the guidelines below:
- Birthday celebrations will take place on Friday afternoons at the end of the school day and will last no more than 20 minutes. If your child's birthday falls on another day of the week, the celebration will take place on the following Friday.
- Please notify your child's teacher in advance if you plan to send in birthday treats.
- Fast food is not permitted, including McDonald's, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, or similar restaurants.
- Acceptable items include cupcakes, pizza, juice boxes, and small goody bags. Baked goods must be individually packaged and peanut-free.
- Balloons, large cakes, and sodas are not permitted.
- The school does not have refrigeration available, so please do not send items that require refrigeration.
Delivery Instructions:
All birthday treats must be dropped off at the main office, clearly labeled with your child's name and class. Office staff will deliver the items to the classroom.
Please Note:
Parents, relatives, and siblings are not permitted to attend classroom birthday celebrations in grades K-5.
